Kanuka honey is a unique type of honey produced from the nectar of the native New Zealand tree (kenzea ericoides).

This honey is often compared to Manuka honey, as both come from similar native plants however they have distinct flavors and properties.

Kanuka honey is a natural skin healer, used in skin care due to it’s antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties.

Kanuka honey has a unique protein called Arabinogalactan protein (AGP) which promotes cell growth.

Skin Care: Apply directly to skin conditions such as acne, eczema, rosacea, cold sores and actinic keratosis.

The following shipping rates apply to different regions:

  • Pick up from Riverside Pantry Free
  • Christchurch: $8.00
  • South Island Urban: $10.00
  • North Island Urban: $15.00

Please note that rural delivery incurs an additional charge of $3.00.


Delivery Timeframes:
The delivery timeframes vary depending on the destination and the type of shipping chosen:
We aim for next-day processing and delivery within 1-2 business days after dispatch. Please note that while most deliveries are 1-2 day, this timeframe is not guaranteed by the courier company. Rural deliveries may take an additional day or two, resulting in a total delivery time of 2-4 business days.

To increase the likelihood of a successful delivery, please consider the following tips:

  • Order your gift as early as possible.
  • During checkout, provide a note mentioning the desired delivery date.

  • If the recipient is not working from home, consider sending the parcel to their workplace.
  • If you are near The Riverside Pantry we recommend picking up - please allow time to pick & pack. You will be notified by email.
